MARTIN D-28GE ADIRONDACK BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD (SOLD)
This limited edition Martin D-28GE Golden Era Brazilian from 2000 (One of 600 built) brings the very best of acoustic elements together into one remarkable guitar. This is one of C. F. Martin Guitar’s highest level pre-war D-28 recreations and is built with some of the finest Adirondack spruce and old growth Brazilian rosewood.
This guitar sounds acoustically rich and huge thanks to the perfect combination of tonewoods. Often regarded as the holy grail of tone woods, the tone coming from the marriage of Adirondack spruce and Brazilian rosewood on this guitar certainly does not disappoint. The guitar is extremely musical and exhibits exceptional clarity and tonal dynamics in every note. The tone has aged perfectly over time to give an enormous tone worthy of a true D-28.
This pre-owned guitar shows only light playwear and is in amazing condition for its age. It is certainly a investment worthy guitar in every way given the quality of tonewoods used back then and the scarcity of Brazilian rosewood being used on Martin guitars these days.
