Hawaiian koa’s captivating beauty is matched by a tone that blossoms over time, especially in the midrange and higher register. Its voice is focused and full of timbre with warm overtones and exceptional harmonics that matures over time to add a range of sweetness and depth to the tone of the guitar.
This particular Taylor has been lovingly cared for nearly two decades by it’s previous owner. Apart from slight natural wear in the finish near the back of the tuners due to age, this guitar is as good as new. It sounds like every bit like a well aged Koa guitar built from some of Taylor’s finest years. The figured koa looks lovely in everyway and is sure to please any player both tonally and visually.
