TAYLOR 710 2000 ENGELMANN SPRUCE INDIAN ROSEWOOD (SOLD)
Here's a well-aged Taylor workhorse built with some of the finest old-growth Indian rosewoods. Looking at the dark red hue, we personally find the rosewoods used during this era to be very close to rosewoods used on 9-series Taylor Guitars today.
This particular engelmann spruce top has aged nicely to a rich golden hue and gives a sweet open-sounding and bell-like tone. Such a tonal character comes only from a well-aged guitar.
This particular piece is in players condition with the biggest scuff shown just under the bridge (View photos). The guitar however has been professionally refinished and what you see are marks under a new gloss finish which is smooth to touch. This guitar is certainly please any player who wishes to enjoy a well-aged Taylor tone at a fraction of the price of a new build with much less impressive woods today.
