Furch's YELLOW Series stands out thanks to a strong balanced sound and an attractive look emphasized by discreet classy appointments. This all solid-wood guitar is built with AAA grade sitka spruce and AA grade Indian rosewood often used on instruments costing almost twice as much.
Sitka spruce gives the guitar a powerful, direct tone that is capable of retaining its clarity even when played aggressively. It exhibits a wide dynamic response and a robust, meaty tone. On the back and sides, East Indian rosewood complements with a strong complex bottom end and imparts an overall warmth to the tone of the guitar.
The soundboard of every Furch guitar is tuned using their proprietary voicing process, resulting in a tone that is crystalline clear, harmonically rich and balanced across the entire tonal spectrum. The guitar is also finished with an ultra thin layer of highly resistant lacquer which provides for excellent protection and shine. Applying lacquer is a very time consuming process but it allows a guitar to “breath”. The instrument projects better and the finish does not bubble in time like many UV-cured polyurethane finished guitars.
All our Furch guitars are further upgraded with Style-8 snowflake fingerboard pearl inlays and come professionally setup with an extra bone saddle. We personally feel that in terms of tone, appointments and the quality of build for the price offered, Furch outperforms most mainstream brands in the market.
We wholeheartedly recommend the Yellow Series to any guitarist searching for a versatile rosewood guitar in grand auditorium shape with a budget of three grand. You will likely end up saving a good amount for a quality build with all the aesthetics and frills of a stage worthy instrument.
